Program Overview

This is a board-and-train experience that builds a reliable foundation before your puppy comes home. Your pup lives with one of our professional trainers, where they learn potty routines, crate comfort, beginner obedience, and positive socialization. This program helps your puppy gain confidence, manners, and healthy habits—making the transition into your home easier and far less stressful.
Length of stay during this package is TBD. Training may also continue for an additional cost. Families would speak with the trainer at that time.

What’s Included

Includes everything in Ready Pup and Confident Canine, plus:
Extended duration for stay and wait commands
Reliable recall practice
Polite leash walking skills
Proper greetings without jumping
Improved focus on the handler in outdoor settings
Foundation for CGC skills without the test
One additional fun trick, trainer’s choice
Additional training may include:
Practicing calm behavior around distractions and other dogs
Participation in a group training class, such as puppy, intermediate, or CGC
AKC Star Puppy Testing
Strengthening handler focus outdoors
Continued CGC foundation work without formal testing
Off-site sessions in new public environments
Sit, stay, and down practice in high-distraction areas
CGC certification if your puppy is 6+ months old
A personalized transition plan and hands-on training handoff for your family
Important Reminder
No matter the amount of early preparation, your puppy is still just that — a puppy. As they grow into adolescence, new challenges will naturally arise, such as fear periods, dips in confidence, and boundary testing. To keep your pup progressing, training should continue right after they come home. BFF Aussies can support families with trainer referrals or virtual guidance, but ongoing consistency is key to lasting success.
